SHOW SERIES

The ‘Series’ component within The Fabrice Guerrier Show involves a sequential exploration of distinct themes and subjects. This approach enables an immersive journey into various topics, weaving together ideas, personalities, and locations to offer listeners a comprehensive range of insights.

The ‘Haitian Futurism Project’ series seeks to engage in conversations with visionary Haitians, both from the homeland and the diaspora as well as various academics and experts on Haiti, The Caribbean and Latin America. The objective is to grasp their distinct viewpoints on Haitian futurism and how it holds significance in their personal lives, alongside its pivotal role in propelling advancement on both a national and global scale. Translating from Haitian Creole to English as ‘liberate our future,’ the term ‘libere lavni nou’ encapsulates this endeavor. Fabrice Guerrier has pioneered the term and concept of ‘Haitian Futurism’ through his column at Haiti Observateur. This groundbreaking concept aims to propel the visions of the first independent Black nation into the future of the global stage, advocating for profound transformative possibilities. The implications for change are profound, with the potential to access diverse strains of futurism that could positively impact both Haiti and other global regions.
